Emilia Zankina has graduated from the National Dance Art School in Bulgaria. She specializes in Graham dance technique and character dance. She has performed with numerous dance companies across Europe and North America, including Mary Miller Dance Company, Slava Modern Dance Company, Michelle Dunleavy Dance, Labco Dance, Pittsburgh Dance Connection, Southwest Ballet, the Duquesne University Tamburitzans, and more. She has taught modern and character dance in Europe and the US, including Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Derida Dance, Balletto di Roma, and Temple University. Most recently, Zankina has taught dance workshops as part of EU-projects or other initiatives promoted by Balletto di Roma such as CLASH, UP2DANCE, Inside Out Contemporary Dance, and more.
