Graduated from English National Ballet, Davide Valrosso studied at numerous International Contemporary Training Centers. For five years he has worked both as a dancer and as a performer with Virgilio Sieni. Currently Associate Choreographer at Balletto di Roma, Associated Artist of Festival Oriente Occidente and VAN. He is coordinator and tutor of the first Italian project dedicated to the research on choreographic composition C.i.m.d (Milan). He boasts numerous collaborations including the ones with Balletto di Toscana, Accademia Nazionale di Danza (Rome), Attakkalari Dance Company (India). His choreographic research reflects around the evocative and expressive capacity of gesture to produce anatomical landscapes with an intangible and surreal dimension. The works of Davide Valrosso have been presented in numerous festivals and exhibitions in Italy and recently in Korea, Spain and India.
